It is best to learn everything you can about what might work best for you, get to know YOUR body and consult your doctor. If he is not for supplements or doesn't know enough about them talk to an alternative remedies doctor. It is important to study what is best for you because some things work against your meds while others overdo your meds since they are doing the same work.

Examples, vitamin K found in green vegetables should not be taken with cholestrol or blood clotting meds. Grapefruit interferes with many meds. chromium changes diabetics blood sugar therefore insulin levels need monitored more often.

calcium take with magnesium and vitamin D (preferably D3). I take at night with potassium and manganese to help my restless leg syndrome and help sleep. Take half the dosage of magnesium to calcium Ex: calcium 600 mg magnesium 300 mg.

chromium --cholestrol, diabetes (monitor insulin more when taking), weight loss.

zinc --immune system, male problems, skin. after one month add 2 mg copper. optimize with C, E & selenium
Do not take any of these or vitamin K if taking blood medications.
